Convention is fast approaching!
We meet as comrades several times a year. The September convention is the most significant of these meetings because we elect our those who will lead us for the next two years. This year a co-chair, recording secretary, tech ops coordinator, treasurer, and political education coordinator are up for election. We will also debate and vote on resolutions that will shape our vision for organizing, and refine our organizational structure.
The thing is, we need YOU. (Read more... ([link removed]) )

Attend an upcoming Grievance Committee training!
TCDSA Grievance Committee Training has dates, and you can help decide times! The dates were chosen to give people plenty of time to plan ahead, and also to work with the facilitators schedules. This will be two weekend sessions of about 3 hours.
Saturday October 5th at Common Roots Cafe in Minneapolis and
Sunday October 20th, location TBD!
Take this survey ([link removed]) and help choose times and narrow down locations for the second session! This helps us know who is planning to attend as well, so also RSVP here or in the # grievanceprocess channel on Slack.
You can read a bit more about the training process and contents here ([link removed]) , and read the TCDSA Grievance Process in full here ([link removed]) .
This training is very introductory and built to get us grounded and ready to grow as a group! It should be accessible and comfortable to anyone interested!
People interested in being part of the Grievance Committee or in leadership positions are especially encouraged to attend. You must complete a training in order to be eligible to run in November to be an elected member of the Grievance Committee.
