The Secretary of State’s office is finalizing its review of Protect Education’s 421,451 signatures [[link removed]] 🎉 At the same time, we expect bad-faith legal challenges from our opposition to drop at any moment, and we must be ready to take urgent action and defend them. This next phase is incredibly important, and requires lawyers to defend every single one of our signatures in order to keep the Protect Education Act on the November 2026 ballot, giving Arizona voters a permanent say in reforming the $1 billion private school voucher program and cementing all of our hard work.
Last week, we asked our volunteers and supporters across the state to contribute to the legal defense to protect our signatures — and boy did you deliver!! 302 individuals contributed over $18,000 to the emergency legal defense fund [[link removed]] 🔥👏🥳 From $5 to $50 to $500, every dollar counted towards our goal of $100,000 for the Protect Education Legal Defense Fund [[link removed]] . But, we still have a long way to go – can you help?

Opposition groups are terrified of our grassroots army of volunteers and the incredible conversations we’ve had across Arizona. They’re scared that voters may finally have a choice in the ESA voucher program and how their tax dollars will be used. That’s why they’re willing to dump millions into ensuring the Protect Education Act never makes it on the ballot.
We know the voters are with us. BUT, in order for Arizona voters to weigh in, we need to defend these signatures in court.
