** Chapter Convention Updates

Join us at our first ever Chapter Convention on Sept. 20th! Registration details below!
Hello Comrades!
As you are aware, Sacramento DSA has been preparing for our first ever local chapter convention! This is an important milestone in our growth.
To assure our members safety, our convention will be conducted online. We know this is not ideal but it is necessary. Sacramento DSA also wants to assure members that the convention will not just be one long zoom meeting full of debates, we are working actively to incorporate social and personable events into our convention. We want this to be efficient, but we also want this to be fun!
Our local convention will be Sunday September 20th from 11 AM to 3:30 (with breaks!) and open to all dues-paying members. We’ll be voting on chapter leadership, bylaw amendments and political resolutions for our chapter that will guide us into the next year.
To register, go to www.sacdsa.org/local-convention. There, you’ll also find the full convention packet which includes: resolutions & amendments, bylaw amendments, draft convention rules, and Executive Board candidates.
If you’d like to ask questions about the convention, the candidates running for Sac DSA Office, or about any of the resolutions and bylaw amendments, you can email us or post in our Slack #general or #localconventionwg channels.
