Last Chance!! It’s your FINAL CHANCE [[link removed]] to return ALL petitions and plug in and help Protect Education over the finish line. If you have 1, 3, 5, 15, or 100 signatures, TURN THEM IN!!! Every single signature counts, and we will need every bit of cushion to withstand the massive legal challenges we know are coming — we’ve got the voucher pushers trembling in their boots, but we’ll win if you bring them in! 2. Check out 1-2 more petitions to help Protect Education meet our goal. After you turn in your current sheets, take a few more with you if you can to ensure Protect Education will be on the ballot this November 🙂 We need everyone to chip in during this final week to ensure we don't fall short! Reach out to your friends, neighbors, hairdressers, babysitters, and anyone else you can think of to ask them to sign! As always, you can access our Volunteer Resource Hub [[link removed]] for everything you need to collect signatures.
🚨 Once again, Republicans are threatening to negotiate away the will of Arizona voters by seeking a special legislative session [[link removed]] to invalidate all signatures for the Protect Education initiative [[link removed]] , just DAYS before signatures are due. [[link removed]]
To be clear, calling a special session to accomplish this would require action from the Governor’s office or a two-thirds vote of the legislature.
Republicans are terrified of the Protect Education Act. [[link removed]] They know Arizona voters are ready to pass this long-overdue voucher reform in November, so politicians are doing everything they can — including cutting shady backroom deals — to prevent Protect Education from reaching the ballot.
Save Our Schools Arizona calls upon all lawmakers and Governor Hobbs to refuse to take part in any deal that would invalidate the will of hundreds of thousands of Arizona voters who signed to put ESA voucher reform on the ballot.
