It has already failed to pass in the Senate, with some vulnerable MAGA Senators worried the bill would be so extreme that the backlash would cause them to lose their seats to Democrats. But Trump has a new absolutely terrifying sales pitch—it’s actually the military that wants to restrict your right to vote: Trump hasn’t hidden his desire to have the military get involved in elections. Earlier this year, he refused to rule out deploying the National Guard to voting locations ahead of the midterms. And how does the Pentagon’s top brass feel about it?
