Build your skills in safe and responsible AI use
New online modules from the Australian Council for International Development [[link removed]] (ACFID) outline how to use to AI, explaining key concepts and practical and ethical use. The modules are suitable for beginners, and those already experimenting with AI. Does your charity operate on a calendar year?
Charities that operate on a calendar year (1 January to 31 December) must submit their 2025 Annual Information Statement before 30 June 2026.

Q: How can we check if our charity is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR)?
You can check if your charity is DGR-endorsed by searching ABN Lookup [[link removed]] using your charity’s ABN.
Not all charities are eligible to be endorsed as a DGR, and information about the different DGR categories and requirements [[link removed]] is available on the ATO website.
If your charity is already registered with the ACNC and you’d like to apply for DGR endorsement, you need to apply directly to the ATO using the DGR application form [[link removed]].

Q: Do we have to report on key management personnel remuneration in the 2025 Annual Information Statement?
