In June, the Supreme Court ruled on June Medical v. Russo, deciding in favor of women and families to protect reproductive rights.

Late last month, CNN broke the news that Brett Kavanaugh fought hard to avoid ruling on the case. He didn't want the court to strengthen its position defending reproductive rights, and he was willing to leave critical health care in limbo to avoid it.

Brett Kavanaugh should never have been confirmed, and he wouldn't have been without the votes of Sens. Joni Ernst (IA), John Cornyn (TX), and Susan Collins (ME).

Replacing these three senators and flipping the Senate has immediate benefits, like the passage of crucial legislation that Mitch McConnell has repeatedly blocked.

But it also has the long-term benefit of protecting our courts from becoming partisan echo chambers for anti-choice agendas that play politics with women's lives.

Senators Collins, Ernst, and Cornyn have made clear they will vote along party lines at all costs, including confirming (to a lifetime appointment!) a judge who wants to sidestep justice. We need to replace them, and we've endorsed pro-choice Democratic women who can do it.
