Hi John,
The month of May brings Teacher Appreciation Week, graduations, end-of-year concerts, plays, and awards, and so many other reminders of the sheer power of public education, and as an organization founded by, led by, and powered by educators, parents, and public school advocates across Arizona, we’re asking for your support [sosaznetwork.org/donate] .
Public schools are where communities come together, and where democracy is lived and strengthened over time. They are places where children from every background learn and grow together, where communities find common ground, and where opportunity belongs to everyone.
That’s why outright attacks on public education are so concerning - from the White House, to the state legislature, and at school boards, it's no secret public schools are under siege.
Across Arizona, $1 billion in public dollars is being diverted away from neighborhood schools through the state’s universal private school voucher program, with little accountability or oversight. This year is critical as Arizona considers putting meaningful guardrails around that program [[link removed]] — and the work we do together at Save Our Schools Arizona Network has never been more important.
We are organizing, educating, advocating, and mobilizing communities across the state to protect and strengthen Arizona’s public schools. But we can only do this work with your support!
Your contribution helps us:
* Advocate for strong, fully funded public schools
* Hold accountable our elected leaders
* Educate communities about the impact of voucher expansion
* Organize grassroots action across Arizona
* Protect the future of public education for every child
There are several ways you can support this work:

Give Through a Donor-Advised Fund
Many supporters choose to make tax-efficient gifts through their Donor-Advised Fund (DAF). Please consider recommending a grant to Save Our Schools Arizona Network (EIN: 83-4555457).
Support Through Your IRA
If you are retired and have an IRA, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to SOSAZN. A QCD can help satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) while supporting public education advocacy. You can also consider naming SOSAZN as a beneficiary of your IRA as part of your legacy planning. (EIN: 83-4555457)
This is a pivotal moment for public education in Arizona. Thank you for standing with us and helping protect strong public schools for every child and every community.
With gratitude,
