On the first day of every month, it’s been my joy for several years to join my brother Shane Claiborne for morning prayer online. We use the Common Prayer [ [link removed] ] resource we published 15 years ago, invite a guest to join us, and livestream our sessions on the Red Letter Christians [ [link removed] ] social media channels.
Though Shane was traveling today, I was glad to kick off May Day with Zach W. Lambert , whose Public Theology Substack is a great resource for folks who are trying to put Christian faith into practice for justice and the common good. Zach is also a pastor and community builder whose life and witness are a gift. I’m glad we can share this time of prayer and conversation with the Our Moral Moment community here today.
