On the first day of every month, it’s been my joy for several years to join my brother Shane Claiborne for morning prayer online. We use the Common Prayer resource we published 15 years ago, invite a guest to join us, and livestream our sessions on the Red Letter Christians social media channels.
Though Shane was traveling today, I was glad to kick off May Day with Zach W. Lambert, whose Public Theology Substack is a great resource for folks who are trying to put Christian faith into practice for justice and the common good. Zach is also a pastor and community builder whose life and witness are a gift. I’m glad we can share this time of prayer and conversation with the Our Moral Moment community here today.
