We must defeat Donald Trump!

Trump's failed trade wars continue to harm our farmers and
manufacturers. His corruption and bullying have decimated our
nation's reputation. His refusal to accept science drove us into
one of the worst COVID-19 outbreaks in the world.

Wisconsin is the swing state most likely to determine the outcome
of the 2020 Presidential election. The 2nd Congressional District
I represent in south central Wisconsin supports Democrats, but we
need to increase voter turnout as much as possible.

For the past few election cycles, thousands of people in my
district have enjoyed early voting options at libraries and other
locations, but conservative judges recently slashed the number of
weeks early voting will be available.

I introduced a bill in Congress to make the right to vote a
Constitutional amendment, but we also need to do the organizing
work right now to make sure voters know how to cast their ballots
safely.

The CDC Director said we could get the coronavirus under control
in 4-8 weeks if everyone wears a mask. We could save the lives of
our loved ones and millions of jobs, but Donald Trump says he
doesn't think he looks good in a mask.

Personally, I don't think he looks good golfing every weekend as
our nation goes through the worst pandemic in our lifetimes. I
don't think he looks good when his administration tells family
farmers in Wisconsin to become large corporate farms or to get
out of farming.

As the Co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, there
are many reasons I oppose Donald Trump, but his refusal to
consistently wear a mask really irritates me. It shows that he's
not willing to do the bare minimum to save American lives.
