Saturday's the deadline to hit our August fundraising goal. The pressure is on.

Most candidates would spend these final days doing "call time" -- also known as calling wealthy donors and asking for money.

Not me.

I don't host any closed-door fundraisers with the wealthiest donors. I don't spend time on the phone buttering them up. Our democracy is not for sale, and neither is my time -- every supporter gets equal access and owns an equal piece of our movement.

Soon, I'll be doing my style of "call time" again -- thanking a few of the grassroots donors who give what they can, whether it's $5, $15, or $50.

So if you can chip in whatever makes sense for you before Saturday's deadline, keep an eye on your phone. If you get a call from an unknown number, pick up -- it might be me!

We're going to build a grassroots movement that's strong enough to make big, structural change in our economy, our government, and our democracy.

I believe in how we're doing this, and I believe in our power together. We truly make each other stronger.
