From day one, the Trump-Vance administration's attacks on sexual and reproductive health care have made health care more expensive and harder to get.

And when the administration and its backers in Congress "defunded" Planned Parenthood by trying to block people with Medicaid from using their insurance at Planned Parenthood health centers, they put the health of millions of people at risk.

The "defund" fight continues.

This attack has had devastating consequences on care in just a few months. As lawmakers continue their yearslong effort to control our bodies and health care decisions, health care costs are skyrocketing. And by targeting Planned Parenthood health centers, they are worsening the crisis they created in our country's fragile health care infrastructure.

Despite the Trump-Vance administration's assault on care and the closure of dozens of health centers, four new Planned Parenthood health centers opened last year to serve patients in Colorado, Virginia, Nevada and Ohio -- and virtual health care was expanded to serve even more patients across the country.
