We are one step away from banning puberty blockers for “gender reassignment.”

Tuesday at the Capitol brought a major win on the Senate Floor via an
amendment offered to HB 54, a healthcare related bill by our friend Rep. Carter
Barrett.

The amendment was originally offered by Sen. Ben Watson and then expounded
upon via a secondary amendment by Sen. Blake Tillery. Together, the additional
language does two things:

Ban the use of puberty blockers for the purpose of “gender transition,” and

*
Ban the use of taxpayer funds for “gender reassignment”

With passage of the bill – with the amendments added – we are now one step
away from protecting kids and taxpayer funds from radical gender ideology.

Democrats voted for it) who stood up for what is right!

Now, we are asking the State House to agree to HB 54 as amended to settle this
critical issue in our state!
