Free webinar update on the passenger rail effort

It was a top priority of mine as a congressman to restore Amtrak service to our area. Our area should not take a backseat to other regions that do have Amtrak service. At my request, Governor Josh Shapiro agreed to back this project, and that has made all the difference. It’s Thursday, February 19 at 4:00 p.m. for an update on the progress. Click here for the link. Interesting live bookstore conversation this week

I also want to let you readers know about another free online event live from Otto Bookstore in Williamsport. It’s my friend, former U.S. Rep. Steve Israel, there to discuss his new novel The Einstein Conspiracy with Lycoming County Commissioner Mark Mussina, himself also an author (and brother of Hall of Fame MLB pitcher Mike Mussina). It will be this Thursday, February 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. Curl up with a hot chocolate and tune in. Should be good!
