"If we’re fighting about whose nine-figure number is correct and no one is claiming racial profiling or discrimination- that means the real work here is done. It's time to end federal monitoring."

*Public Health Confirms Local Measles Spread Following Two New Cases*
A local outbreak of measles is occurring in Maricopa County with community transmission confirmed. The number of confirmed measles cases in Maricopa County residents remains at three.
On January 28, the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) announced a new measles exposure involving a non-county resident. As of January 28, a total of five exposure locations has been identified – four of which are in Gilbert and one which is in Mesa.
Public notifications are issued when exposed individuals cannot be identified, so people who may have been in a public setting at the same time as an infectious person can learn of their potential exposure and take protective steps.
MCDPH will provide public notification via the media and update its online list of public exposure sites [ [link removed] ] when additional public exposures are identified. Visit gov/Measles [ [link removed] ] for the most recent case counts, exposure sites, and press releases.
