Vice Chair Debbie Lesko
I was appointed Vice Chair of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. I am proud to say we have hit the ground running this year for the people of this great county! Click the button below to hear my appointment.
Grand Reopening of Maricopa County Sheriff District 3 Substation
I had a great time attending the grand reopening of the newly renovated MCSO substation located in Surprise. The substation has been repurposed into a functional, modern workspace, allowing MCSO to better meet today’s operational needs and conduct their business more efficiently. Thank you Sheriff Sheridan for inviting me.
Federal Oversight Hearing
My statement on the court hearing re: Federal Oversight of Sheriff's office and the debate over which taxpayer cost number should be used....
"If we’re fighting about whose nine-figure number is correct and no one is claiming racial profiling or discrimination- that means the real work here is done. It's time to end federal monitoring."
2026 Arizona Legislative Session
It was great to be back at my old stomping grounds at the Arizona House of Representatives on opening day! Thank you Speaker Steve Montenegro for the invitation to be your guest.
Community Meeting
I was privileged to spend time with West Valley patriots in my district. These men and women are passionate about their community and the issues affecting their families.
United to Stop Human Trafficking Event
I was honored to speak at the United to Stop Human Trafficking forum earlier this month. Thank you to Congressman Andy Biggs, Stacie Sheridan, the survivors, non-profits and the community for joining us. Together, we will end human trafficking.
Team Lesko Community Events
Team Lesko continues to attend new business ribbon-cutting ceremonies and community meetings across my district.
As we look ahead, I extend my best wishes to the new businesses opening in our district and my sincere thanks to the community members who engage with us through meetings and conversations. We wish everyone continued success and look forward to working together to strengthen our community.

Pubic Health
Public Health Confirms Local Measles Spread Following Two New Cases
A local outbreak of measles is occurring in Maricopa County with community transmission confirmed. The number of confirmed measles cases in Maricopa County residents remains at three.
On January 28, the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) announced a new measles exposure involving a non-county resident. As of January 28, a total of five exposure locations has been identified – four of which are in Gilbert and one which is in Mesa.
Public notifications are issued when exposed individuals cannot be identified, so people who may have been in a public setting at the same time as an infectious person can learn of their potential exposure and take protective steps.
MCDPH will provide public notification via the media and update its online list of public exposure sites when additional public exposures are identified. Visit gov/Measles for the most recent case counts, exposure sites, and press releases.
