It’s because I’m doing the job you sent me to Washington to do: I’m demanding accountability from a government that has operated in the shadows for far too long.
Last year, I introduced the WATCH ICE Act after an oversight visit revealed that nearly 80% of people in a local detention facility had no criminal convictions.
Now, following the tragedies in Minneapolis, I’m calling for an end to the culture of secrecy and intimidation at the highest levels of our government. I’m also calling for the impeachment of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
