AXIOS: Trump campaign “aggressively” targeting Minnesota

Did you see this recent report? I’ve never seen a Republican Presidential candidate target Minnesota like this before, especially not this early.

The Trump campaign now has as many as 14 full-time staffers on the ground here actively recruiting volunteers across the state. The more they do (and the more money they spend), the more the right-wing GOP candidates down-ballot benefit.

This is a big problem for us. Next year is our only guaranteed shot at taking back the Minnesota Senate from the Republicans who are blocking common-sense gun reform, emergency insulin for all, paid family leave, and more.

Governor Walz would never sit on the sidelines at a time like this. And that’s why we’re laying early groundwork of our own -- we just need to maintain our budget targets to see our plans through.
