We’ve seen in election after election that the Latino vote can make or
break the margin of victory for progressives and Democrats.

There have been many headlines recently about how the Biden campaign is
worried about the Latino vote, how even with Trump in the White House it
remains a challenging group of voters for Democrats, and how Republicans
are aggressively going after Latinx voters, including with
Spanish-language ads.

We’re launching a crucial phase of our 2020 Latino voter outreach program
with a seven-figure ad campaign over the next four weeks to get out the
Latino vote against Trump Republicans – matching the million dollars the
Biden campaign has announced it’s spending on Latino outreach.

And this is just the beginning! We urgently need your help to execute this
phase and then to increase our Spanish-language ads and other Latino voter
outreach after Labor Day in the final months of the election.

We have a $88,000 budget gap to close before our deadline in just three
days. And all donations will be 3X-MATCHED by 7/31!

In 98 days we have the chance to end the Trump presidency and usher in a
new progressive era to clean up Republicans’ mess and put our country on
the right track – and Latinx voters, especially in the hottest
battleground states like WI, PA, MI, FL, NC and AZ – could be the
determining factor.

PFAW’s Latinos Vote! program is the premier national independent Latino
voter mobilization media program in the country  – we’ve often been the
only progressive group doing Spanish-language outreach through paid media
in crucial states where Republicans vastly outspend Democrats in the
Spanish-language market; we bring in iconic movement heroes like our board
member Dolores Huerta to organize and fire up local volunteers, and
partner with grassroots field organizations on the ground to make sure our
tested and honed persuasion messages are reaching voters from many angles
– from traditional and digital ads to canvassing and events.

Many Americans assume that Latinx voters are automatically fired up to
vote Trump and his enablers out of office because of Trump Republicans’
racism and this administration’s extreme anti-immigrant brutality. But
that’s not the case.

Just like any community, Latinx voters need to be reached out to and
engaged. And like many other voting communities crucial to the Democratic
coalition, Latinx voters need to be educated on the importance of voting
and the fact that our vote matters and can decide the election, as well as
the importance of voting AGAINST Trump Republicans, and how to navigate
voting (and voting safely) in this complicated pandemic-driven landscape.

Our targeted ad campaigns focus on the issues that will get Latinos to the
polls – including climate change and the environment! (Yes, that is a
driving issue among many Latinx voters!)

We have the experience and expertise after building out our Latino
outreach program over many years and election cycles.
