Dear John,
One year ago, Trump came into office, and myself and other feminists across the country could only imagine what a second Trump administration would mean for equality.
Trump 2.0 has been as awful as many of us feared—maybe even worse.
Violent rhetoric toward women and girls is spreading across the manosphere, fueled by Trump and other politicians who normalize hate speech. Misogynistic laws are being passed that treat women as unequal and unworthy members of society. And junk science is being used to further chip away at women’s health, especially reproductive rights in the years since Roe v. Wade was overturned.
This past year has not been easy. But the NOW community has stood strong against the Trump administration—and together, we’ve weathered the storm.
I am asking you today to keep standing with us by making a gift of $25, $50, or more to NOW.

Your generosity will immediately support critical grassroots movement-building work as our members and volunteers across the country fight to:
* Confront gender-based violence in all of its forms and advocate for stronger protections and prevention measures—online as well as in the home and in the workplace.
* Expose and address the economic inequalities that make it harder for women to live, work, and thrive.
* Protect access to health care , defend bodily autonomy, and advance reproductive justice for all.
* Demand recognition of the ratified Equal Rights Amendment and ensure equality under the law for every person.
As I often say, we’re in this for the long haul. Progress is possible even in the harshest conditions. Our foremothers refused to give up during their time, and we must continue this legacy of radical resistance in ours.
