Andrew is running for the Florida House District 59; it's a swing district that just flipped blue for the first time in 2018 . Now the incumbent is vacating it, he's endorsed Andrew has his successor, and Andrew is fighting to keep it blue. Despite famously being a 50/50 state, the Florida Legislature is dominated by Republicans thanks to partisan gerrymandering. We have an opportunity to redraw the maps in 2021 , but only if we get more Democrats to Tallahassee first. Otherwise, Florida will continue to gerrymander districts, mishandle Florida’s COVID-19 response, deny healthcare to those who need it, and chip away at voter rights and a woman’s right to choose .


Andrew wants to make healthcare more accessible , manage the response to COVID-19 to slow it’s spread in Florida, plan a safe learning environment for teachers and students, stimulate the economy through green jobs, and bring a new generation of leadership to Tallahassee.
