* Nate Swanson is the director of the Iran Strategy Project at the
Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Middle East Security Initiative. He has
served as a senior advisor on Iran policy across multiple
administrations, most recently serving as director for Iran at the
National Security Council.
* Negar Mortazavi is a senior fellow at the Center for International
Policy and editor and host of The Iran Podcast. An award-winning
journalist and commentator, Negar grew up in Iran and Germany and has
covered Iranian affairs from exile for over a decade.
