There were 2,053 overdose deaths in 2017 alone here in Michigan. The number is shocking, but not surprising when you learn that in Michigan, we have more opioid prescriptions than we have people.
But for too long, we've targeted people struggling with addiction -- rather than the pharmaceutical corporations that perpetuated the crisis.
