Speaker Johnson refused to hold a vote to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies last year, and the GOP’s inaction has allowed these subsidies to expire.

That means that Oregonians and people across the country will see their healthcare costs rise by hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. It’s unacceptable. [[link removed]]

For me, it's a no-brainer — protecting healthcare for Oregonians and keeping costs low are non-negotiables.

That’s why my Democratic colleagues and I are forcing a vote this week to restore the Affordable Care Act tax credits and stop healthcare costs from skyrocketing.
