John,
There have been nearly 2,000 reported [[link removed]] incidences of discrimination and hate speech against the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.
Scapegoating and fearmongering an entire community is unacceptable. It will do nothing to help us defeat this public health emergency.
Earlier this year, we joined other non-profits in the Love Has No Labels Campaign — the Ad Council’s five-year-old, flagship anti-discrimination campaign — earlier this year.
Their latest effort launched this week is Fight the Virus. Fight the Bias [[link removed]] , a public service advertising campaign. The campaign includes additional online resources [[link removed]] for users to get a deeper understanding of the discrimination facing the API community in our country — and how we can all be part of the solution to end it.

The Council joined this effort because this moment calls on us to do more to connect our pursuit of a fair and just immigration system to the pursuit of a fair and just society and freedom for all.
Now, we invite you to join the Council and view, share, and activate these resources. [[link removed]]
Fight the Bias.
Sincerely,
