Happy New Year from the Alzheimer's Association.

Dear Friend,
First, I would like to extend my best
wishes to you for a happy and safe 2026. It's only the second day of
the new year, but my heart is already filled with hope. No matter what
we face, I'm confident that with you by our side, we'll continue to
take steps forward in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for your interest in our fight. Our supporters are
the reason we have been able to further our mission to lead the way to
end Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating global
research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing
quality care and support.
As we step into 2026, I want to share some of the highlights
from the past 12 months that our amazing and generous community of
supporters helped make possible:
Advancing research. We currently
have $450 million invested across more than 1,200 projects in 56
countries. Research efforts have led to the development of new tools
and technology such as blood biomarker tests, which could help improve
doctors' abilities to provide a more accurate diagnosis.

Uncovering new ways to lower our
risk of developing Alzheimer's. Data from U.S. POINTER - an
Association-led two-year clinical trial conducted to evaluate whether
lifestyle interventions that simultaneously target many risk factors
protect cognitive function in older adults who are at risk for
cognitive decline - showed that positive actions can make a
difference in brain health. The Association will use these promising
study results to improve early detection efforts that are critical in
qualifying for U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved treatments.

Supporting people living with
Alzheimer's or another dementia and care partners. We provided more
than 10 million touches of care through our support resources
including our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900), alz.org, awareness
presentations and more.

Strengthening advocacy efforts.
The Association remains committed to ensuring Alzheimer's remains a
national priority for lawmakers. We advocate for the passage of
legislation that could greatly improve the health care system and
quality of life for those impacted by Alzheimer's.
We've made remarkable progress in the past year, but your
support is crucial to ensure we can continue to provide quality care
and support as well as drive promising research and advocacy forward.
That's why we're asking you to join us and kick off 2026 stronger than
ever with a gift to fund research and help provide care and support.

Our fight has never been more important. The number of
Americans living with Alzheimer's is expected to climb from over 7
million to 13.8 million by 2060. This looming increase will have a
direct financial impact on our country and create overwhelming strain
for health care systems and families.
Our work is far from done, but with you by our side in the
fight against Alzheimer's, we can continue to change the trajectory of
this devastating disease.
Together, we'll make 2026 an amazing year. On behalf of all of
us at the Alzheimer's Association, and our community, thank you so
much for your dedication to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's
and all other dementia.
With gratitude and best wishes for the
new year,
Donna McCullough
