John, ICE is planning to build and manage large warehouses to hold over 80,000 detainees, according to the Washington Post. One of those facilities is being planned in my district, in Merrimack, New Hampshire. MAGA is proudly calling these warehouses “like Amazon Prime, but for people.” Our community will not allow a mass detention camp in our backyard. I am standing shoulder to shoulder with local leaders and advocates, and I will do everything I can to stop this dehumanizing project. I won’t stand by and watch as ICE neglects and abuses detainees and commits appalling human rights abuses to please Stephen Miller or Kristi Noem.
