Image Description: an illustration of the Pittsburgh Skyline at night. In the dark purple sky is written "PPT's 2025 Year End Member Drive: Building New Constellations of Power", decorated with yellow stars.
Your power is written in the stars.
Jack, I wanted to show you this artwork.
It's an illustration of three teens on a bus stop bench in a hilltop neighborhood, with the nighttime skyline of Pittsburgh sprawled out behind them. The city is lit up in deep purples, bright blues, and shining gold—but the teens are pointing up at the sky.
Above them are shining stars, connected to form constellations—but these are different. The constellations are transit maps, connected by tiny glowing buses and T trains. There are two maps in the constellation: one, in yellow, shows the PRT system map as it is. Another, in blue, shows new possibilities for our transit system. It's what the teens want to see; it's what they're dreaming up, together.
That's what we're doing at PPT: dreaming the future of transit justice for ourselves and our neighbors.
The best way to support that dream? Becoming a dues-paying member of PPT during our Year End Member Drive. [[link removed]]
From now until the end of December, every one-time gift donated will be doubled by a local foundation. Every monthly recurring membership will be matched 12x ! There has never been a better time to contribute to our fight for new constellations of transit rider and worker power.
Donate and double your $$ [[link removed]]

Biggest, warmest, starriest thanks to PPT member Névé Monroe-Anderson for designing this gorgeous artwork and helping us envision the future of transit justice!
This is how members build movement power—and their own.

Image Description: a woman smiles at the camera wearing matching leopard print glasses and headband. Behind her is a decorative purple cutout and yellow stars, and an illustration of the Pittsburgh skyline in purple. Light yellow text reads, "With PPT, I'm winning campaigns and building skills. It all started with a selfie—now I have community! -Kristen Greene, PPT Member"
See the magic in action! Read PPT member Kristen Greee's story about how PPT helped her build skills and win campaigns:
My name is Kristen Greene, and I'm pretty new to PPT. I first got involved in January 2025, when I took a selfie in support of statewide transit funding. I never could've dreamed that sharing that selfie would lead to me starting, and winning, a campaign for better transit!
Everything changed this summer, when I found out that the Waterfront mall wanted to remove bus stops from its stores… Read Kristen's full story [[link removed]]
