The 126th Christmas Bird Count is around the corner!
Whether you’re a seasoned birder or a fledgling nature lover, all are welcome to count birds, connect with nature, and contribute to vital science at the 126th Christmas Bird Count (CBC)([link removed])! From December 14 to January 5, you can join in on the longest-running bird count in the western hemisphere.

With a century of history behind this count, our annual CBC is a cherished winter tradition that brings people together while shaping research and conversation work. Everyone’s data provides a picture of how bird populations have changed in time and space over the past hundred years.
