"These are not your grandfather's -- let alone the Framers' -- gerrymanders." -- Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan

Help us end rigged maps >>>[link removed]

Friend -- That's what Justice Kagan wrote in her dissent when the Supreme Court's conservatives ruled a year ago that federal courts could not limit partisan gerrymandering. She may have been referring to constitutional Framer Elbridge Gerry, the man after whom gerrymandering is named and whose 276th birthday would have been today.

Justice Kagan was right -- these days, Republicans use sophisticated computer programs to pack and crack districts so they can stay in the majority even when they receive fewer votes than Democrats. And they'll do it again in 2021 if we don't stop them by winning up and down the ballot in 2020.

Will you stop map-rigging Republicans (and celebrate the birthdays of Elbridge Gerry and our Digital Advocacy and Fundraising Director, Ben) by making a donation to the NDRC now?
