Thank you for your interest in the Sacramento DSA chapter. Our chapter continues to grow, evolve, and build a base of power in the working class of the Sacramento region. We hope that you'll join us on the path for democratic control of our economy and society and a the end of oppression in all forms.
Whether we're rallying against ICE ([link removed]) , hosting reading groups, qualifying ([link removed]) rent control control on the March 2020 Sacramento ballot ([link removed]) , or demanding public ownership of our power grid ([link removed]) we have dozens of projects that you can take part in today!
If you are in Sacramento, the simplest way to get involved is to check our calendar ([link removed]) or your email for the newsletter that we send out every Wednesday afternoon and attend any meeting or event that strikes your interest. Be sure to add

[email protected]) to your contacts, and drag any emails from us in your "Promotions" or "Spam" folders to your main inbox to make sure you get them every week!
If you live further away, we want to hear from you! We have been assisting our neighbors in establishing self-sustaining organizing committees in the surrounding areas. Recently Chico DSA and Central Sierra Foothills DSA came into their own and left our chapter's unusually large turf. Amador, Lodi, Modesto, Merced, Stockton, Yolo County; do you hear that? Let's build democratic socialism in our lifetimes! Respond to this email if you are interested in helping organize a committee near you.
