[Surfers Against Sewage logo <[link removed]>] [Finisterre's Blue Friday <[link removed]>] Hi John,
If you’re anything like us, Black Friday sparks a mix of mild anxiety and a deep *sigh* at what the world has become. So let us introduce BLUE Friday - where we choose the ocean over discounts and actually feel good about it. 💙 To celebrate, our friends at Finisterre are donating £2 from every UK sale (online and in-store) to Surfers Against Sewage from right now until midnight, Tuesday 2nd December.
If you don’t know them, Finisterre are a cold-water surf and outdoor brand making responsibly built gear for all your adventures. As well as our next-door neighbours here in St Agnes, Cornwall! So whether you’re treating yourself, or gifting a fellow surfer and ocean lover, every purchase helps fuel our fight to end sewage and plastic pollution. 🌊 [Start browsing <[link removed]>] [The early days of Finisterre <[link removed]>] How Finisterre supports our mission Like us, Finisterre was born on the cliffs of Cornwall with a mission to protect the ocean we love. Our partnership goes way back - all the way to 2003, when founder Tom Kay launched Finisterre’s very first product: a windproof, waterproof fleece that sent a portion of proceeds to SAS and other ocean causes. Since then, they’ve stood with us through major campaigns and moments: Save the Sea collections, beach cleans, the 2015 Global Wave Conference, the 2025 Election Tour and so much more. ✊ This is now Finisterre’s fifth Blue Friday, and over the years they’ve raised £50,000+ for ocean access and conservation. Last year alone, they backed SAS for all UK orders and raised over £15,000 in just one week. 🤯 Let’s see what we can achieve this time, John! [Join Blue Friday <[link removed]>]

"Our partnership with Finisterre is hued from the walls we share at our Cornish HQ, and in our mutual passion for positive disruption for the ocean. We surf and swim in the same waters and have worked together to protect them since 2003. When brands like ours align, powerful change can happen." — SAS CEO, Giles Bristow Follow the show on Spotify to get notified the moment it lands. ⬇️ [Listen to the podcast <[link removed]>]
