After two years of genocide, farmers in Gaza are working to rebuild and feed their communities. They are returning to lands that have been destroyed, burned, and razed—and planting again. With support from AFSC, 19 farmers are now growing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and other vegetables.

Although a ceasefire was announced in early October, Israel continues to severely restrict humanitarian aid from entering Gaza. Supporting local farmers has become essential.

Since July, AFSC has distributed over 2,500 vegetable kits sourced directly from Gaza farmers, reaching more than 18,000 people.
