Hi Friend,
After two years of genocide, farmers in Gaza are working to rebuild and feed their communities. They are returning to lands that have been destroyed, burned, and razed—and planting again. With support from AFSC, 19 farmers are now growing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and other vegetables.
Although a ceasefire was announced in early October, Israel continues to severely restrict humanitarian aid from entering Gaza. Supporting local farmers has become essential.
Since July, AFSC has distributed over 2,500 vegetable kits sourced directly from Gaza farmers, reaching more than 18,000 people.
AFSC's agricultural support is part of our long-term commitment to Palestinians. We’re providing immediate relief while building toward a future beyond survival. Read more from AFSC staff member Serena.

Act now to end the genocide in Sudan
In October, El Fasher—the last government-held city in Darfur—fell to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. Over the past two years, more than 60,000 people have been killed in Sudan. Over 12 million people have been forced to flee their homes. Yet global media coverage remains sparse, and much of the international community has ignored this genocide. The U.S. must act now to stop this genocide. Send a message to Congress today!

Searching for family, documenting for immigrant justice By Diana Flores
Across the U.S., community members are being detained by ICE. And families are often left with no information about where they were taken. This is no accident. The system is designed this way: bureaucratic obstacles, outdated databases, unanswered phone calls. AFSC staff member Diana Flores works to locate people in detention. This work supports legal defenses, informs advocacy, and provides relief to families. Here, Diana shares what it’s like to search for someone in detention—and why documentation is an act of resistance.

New AFSC report explores the business of Israeli apartheid
AFSC’s Action Center for Corporate Accountability has released a new report warning corporations and investors of risks associated with operating in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory. "The Business of Apartheid" explains how companies may be contributing to human rights violations and face serious legal and reputational risks.
