You’re invited to Caddo Culture Day [ [link removed] ] at Caddo Mounds State Historic Site [ [link removed] ]! This Saturday, experience a joyful celebration of Caddo history, heritage, and contemporary culture. Enjoy hands-on learning, exhibitions, and demonstrations led by Caddo artists and culture bearers, including traditional cooking, weaving, and stickball.

Admission is free. Bring a chair, stay for the day, and celebrate living Caddo heritage!

Fields of Honor: A Luminous Tribute

Fields of Honor [ [link removed] ] is a powerful commemoration of the 21,500 Texans who gave their lives in armed conflict. Thousands of candles will illuminate the San Jacinto Battlefield [ [link removed] ], honoring their sacrifice and legacy. Volunteers are needed December 5–7.

Trail of Lights

December 12-23, 5:30–8 p.m., La Grange

Celebrate 30 years of Trail of Lights [ [link removed] ] at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites [ [link removed] ]. Stroll the half-mile historic trail filled with themed light displays inspired by holiday folklore and tradition.

Enjoy a peaceful lights-only walk December 17, 18, 22, and 23, or visit during Festival Nights [ [link removed] ], December 12–13 and 19–21, for live music, refreshments, Santa, and tours of the beautifully decorated Kreische House. Tickets are sold at the door.
