This Saturday, November 15, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
You’re invited to Caddo Culture Day at Caddo Mounds State Historic Site! This Saturday, experience a joyful celebration of Caddo history, heritage, and contemporary culture. Enjoy hands-on learning, exhibitions, and demonstrations led by Caddo artists and culture bearers, including traditional cooking, weaving, and stickball.
Admission is free. Bring a chair, stay for the day, and celebrate living Caddo heritage!

 Fields of Honor: A Luminous Tribute

Fields of Honor is a powerful commemoration of the 21,500 Texans who gave their lives in armed conflict. Thousands of candles will illuminate the San Jacinto Battlefield, honoring their sacrifice and legacy. Volunteers are needed December 5–7.

The Trail of Lights Extravaganza is the perfect way to celebrate the season at Mission Dolores State Historic Site. Enjoy crafts, cocoa, cookies, Santa visits, and sparkling lights perfect for family photos. Stop by the museum and gift shop to find unique holiday gifts and festive cheer. Admission is free.

Victorian Christmas
December 11, 6–8 p.m., Rockport
Step back in time for a Victorian Christmas at the Fulton Mansion. Enjoy Santa’s reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas," holiday music, crafts, wassail, and festive fun for all ages. Experience the charm and traditions of a 19th-century holiday celebration! Admission is free.

Trail of Lights
December 12-23, 5:30–8 p.m., La Grange
Celebrate 30 years of Trail of Lights at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites. Stroll the half-mile historic trail filled with themed light displays inspired by holiday folklore and tradition.
Enjoy a peaceful lights-only walk December 17, 18, 22, and 23, or visit during Festival Nights, December 12–13 and 19–21, for live music, refreshments, Santa, and tours of the beautifully decorated Kreische House. Tickets are sold at the door.
