Look, Washington Republicans decided to slash funding for Medicaid to give a tax break to the very wealthiest Americans.

Now, Raleigh Republicans, who say they are on board with keeping Medicaid funded, are shamefully using people’s health and well-being as political bargaining chips and refusing to get this done.

More than three million North Carolinians rely on Medicaid, John — and Medicaid helps keep our state’s health care system working for those of us on private insurance, too.
