John,

We have some great news to share:

The EPA is backing down from plans to eliminate Energy Star — the program behind those familiar blue labels that help families choose energy-efficient appliances.

This only happened because of significant pushback, including from our SEEC Members in Congress, and they won! Donate now to help us keep fighting to defend our climate progress. [[link removed]]

DONATE NOW » [[link removed]]Here’s why this is such a big victory:

Earlier this year, Trump’s EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced plans to scrap Energy Star entirely. But after SEEC Members, environmental advocates, and industry leaders raised the alarm, the agency quietly renewed contracts to keep the program running.

This is a reminder that public pressure and Congressional oversight can protect climate progress.

But we can’t stop here. The same officials who tried to kill Energy Star are looking for ways to undermine clean energy and climate programs across the government.

Our SEEC Members in Congress are pushing back, but they need our support to hold the line. Chip in to SEEC PAC today and help us keep defending our climate progress! [[link removed]]

Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand.
