*LCB Action: Alcohol-Related Rulema**king – Implementing 2SHB 1515 Expanded Alcohol Service Areas, Proposed Rules, Public Comment Period Open*

 

On Nov. 5, 2025, during its regularly scheduled meeting, the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following alcohol-related action:

 

The Board approved a rule proposal (CR 102) to amend existing rules in Title 314 WAC and create new rules in Chapter 314-02 WAC [ [link removed] ] implementing Second Substitute House Bill (2SHB) 1515 (chapter 361, Laws of 2025) [ [link removed] ] which expanded allowable areas of public alcohol consumption in various ways. The public may provide comments on this issue until the public hearing, currently scheduled for Dec. 11, 2025.
