Leaner government, nearly $80 million trimmed from the budget over three years, and a responsible health insurance agreement that saves taxpayers almost $15 million. Careful stewardship, saying no to wasteful purchases, tightening travel policies, doing more work in-house, and negotiating away unnecessary fees so more dollars stay with taxpayers. Safer communities, investing in tools and training for law enforcement, moving forward on a modern training academy, addressing mental health needs tied to public safety, and shutting down chronic public nuisances. Strong, transparent elections, with tighter custody of ballots, and no internet transmission of results. Eliminating all woke programs that existed in the county. There is more to do, and we’ll continue to approach it with the same steady, conservative approach, one line item at a time.
