President Donald Trump and his allies are trying to rig the system by
handpicking Republican states to go through redistricting processes.

The President’s policies — cutting health care and food assistance to pay
for tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy — are deeply unpopular. And since he
can’t defend them at the ballot box, he’s changing the rules of the game
instead.

But Wes’s position is not changing: If other states are determining
whether or not they have fair maps, so will
Maryland.
