Yesterday, Nigel Farage stood up in Parliament and demanded that the UK withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
Thanks to you, Farage got a message of his own: the British people won’t stand by while he tries to take away their fundamental rights.
Because before the debate even began, thousands of Open Britain supporters had already reached 99% of MPs, making sure they knew exactly what was at stake. Your voices were heard, clearly and powerfully.

The ECHR was created after the Second World War to protect people from tyranny and abuse. Rights like a fair trial, free expression, privacy, and freedom from torture.
It’s not an EU invention. It’s a British idea, championed by Winston Churchill and rooted in the values we fought for in WWII.
Walking away from it wouldn’t just weaken those rights; it would tell the world that Britain no longer stands for the rule of law.
Farage and his far-right allies will keep trying, and there are still far too many MPs who agree with him. We’ll keep putting pressure on those. But for now, we’ve shown that their agenda can be beaten. This was your victory.
