The same Democrats who praised independent redistricting now want to destroy it.

In 2020, Democrats in the Virginia Senate called the independent redistricting
amendment “historic reform.”


They said Virginians should choose their legislators — not the other way
around.


Now those same politicians are holding a special session to undo the very
system they once celebrated.


It’s hypocrisy at its worst.


Let’s be honest: they can’t beat us on ideas, so they’re trying to redraw the
maps to tilt elections in their favor.


That’s not democracy. That’s manipulation.


I’m doing everything I can to defend the First District and protect the will
of Virginia voters — but I can’t do it alone.
