In 2020, Democrats in the Virginia Senate called the independent redistricting amendment “historic reform.”
They said Virginians should choose their legislators — not the other way around.
Now those same politicians are holding a special session to undo the very system they once celebrated.
It’s hypocrisy at its worst.
Let’s be honest: they can’t beat us on ideas, so they’re trying to redraw the maps to tilt elections in their favor.
That’s not democracy. That’s manipulation.
