President Donald Trump threatened to sue California over Proposition 50, an effort that will make congressional elections fairer.

So, with less than 2 weeks until Californians head out to the polls and decide, we need to be ready for everything.

And John, when I say we need to be ready for everything, I really mean everything—from misinformation campaigns to every trick Republicans will try to protect their control in Congress.

Out-of-state Republicans are pouring thousands of dollars into stopping Proposition 50 because they know if it passes, they’ll lose one of their most powerful tools: power in Congress from rigged maps.

And although I’ll be up for re-election next year, right now, my team and I are focused on giving Proposition 50 everything we’ve got.
