[[link removed]] On the occasion of Ana Garcia-Ashley’s retirement, Gamaliel has established the Ana Garcia-Ashley Fund for the Future of Organizing [[link removed]] . This fund will support work that carries forward the passionate and powerful organizing for which Ana is known: developing leaders and building powerful, democratic organizations
that move us toward creation of the beloved community in our cities, states, and nation. Having served as an Executive Director in MICAH-Milwaukee, WISDOM-Wisconsin, and now with Gamaliel, she understands the importance of raising unrestricted funds so that the money may be used where it is most needed and effective. The Future of Organizing Fund will be administered by the Gamaliel Board of Directors.
