She was born in Waverly, NY, and sold by Liberty Research (now Marshall
BioResources) for $695 to the U.S. government’s largest cat lab.
At just 4.9 pounds, she was small enough to earn the name “Lil Petite.”

The USDA’s “Kitten Slaughterhouse” — just 30 minutes from the White House —
bred, killed, and burned 10-week-old kittens on your dime:
* Force-fed dog and cat meat from Chinese wet markets.

Louisville (’22), and the “Stokes 7” (’24).
* Banned cat testing by the U.S. Navy (’25).
* Forced federal agencies to adopt the first-ever retirement policies — giving
other rescued cats (and dogs) a second chance at the NIH, Pentagon, VA, and
FDA.
In just five years, you and I wiped out every known lab causing pain and
distress to cats inside the U.S. government.
She was the turning point. Petite shattered the culture of losing and ended an
era of federal feline abuse.
But her story didn’t stop there.
