Shortly after Trump returned to office this year, I started a series exploring the impacts of his policies on the economy. The first installment [ [link removed] ] examined his tariffs and the supply chain, collapsing foreign tourism, the impacts of ham-fisted immigration enforcement on vulnerable industries that depend on immigrant labor, and the impacts on aggregate demand of firing public workers by the tens of thousands.
