In honor of Dictionary Day, I’d like to school Iowa’s partisan insiders on
a couple of key vocabulary words, so hang in there with me:
Public (adjective): of or concerning the people as a whole
Service (noun): the action of helping or doing work for someone
Public Service (noun): a service rendered in the public interest
Somewhere along the way, partisan insiders have either forgotten or chosen
to ignore their duty to Iowa families.
